近年來，崆峒區政府主動適應經濟發展新常態，不斷加大信息公開力度，持續努力打造陽光政府、服務型政府。先后開通了微博(人民網微博、騰訊微博、新華網微博、新浪微博)和“崆峒發布”微信公眾平臺。

通過微博及時轉發中央、省市的重要信息、文件和政策，發布崆峒區的重大決策和公告。同時，通過微博與網民建立互動，及時收集網民的訴求和意見建議。截至目前，已有7700余條信息通過微博轉發和分發。

“崆峒發布”微信公眾平臺設置了崆峒地區形勢、政策文件、公告、服務指南、留言、建言獻策等板塊。市民可使用手機掃描二維碼或添加微信微信官方賬號(“崆峒發布”或kongtongfabu)進入平臺。通過微信平臺，市民足不出戶就能全面了解黨的方針政策和政府的工作動態，同時還可以通過語音、文字等多種方式向微信平臺發送個人訴求和建議，有效暢通了服務渠道。
